About

For over a decade, I’ve had the joy of helping students discover that the pages of a book don’t have to stay flat — they can leap into color, texture, imagination, and meaning. From sunny San Diego classrooms to my new home in the U.K., I’ve been creating art lessons that connect illustrated storybooks to hands-on, meaningful art-making experiences.

With a background in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Art Education, I design resources that blend visual clarity with educational depth — lessons that are engaging, purposeful, and ready to use.

This blog is where I’ll share creative art projects for teachers and students, classroom-tested ideas, and thoughtfully designed resources you can use right away — including materials available on Teachers Pay Teachers.

Because I believe every child is an artist, and art class should be a place where stories come alive — and every student feels seen, celebrated, and successful.
